Don’t let Sam’s fresh-faced, boyish looks fool you. This Edinburgh lad has an edge to him. Case in point: he’s currently working on an audiovisual project for which he feeds Whitney Houston tunes into a custom “Rap-ulizer” machine which in turn spits out “mint-ass future beats and animations.” Besides music, Sam’s other passion is drawing, and he has done illustrations for a variety of outlets including zines, small record labels, clubs, t-shirts and exhibitions. His work has been exhibited in shows in the U.K. and Berlin and published in Pocket Sized magazine and various zines.

Von Sams jungenhaftem Aussehen sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen. Er hat's nämlich faustdick hinter den Ohren. Im Moment arbeitet der Schotte aus Edinburgh an einem Projekt, für das er einen speziellen „Rap-ulizer“ mit Whitney-Houstons-Gesäusel füttert. Die Maschine spuckt anschließend „mint-ass future beats“ (O-Ton Sam) und Animationen aus. Neben der Musik hat Sam eine große Leidenschaft fürs Zeichnen. Seine Illustrationen sind für Zines, kleinere Plattenlabel, Clubs, T-Shirts und Ausstellungen entstanden. Seine Arbeiten waren in Ausstellungen in Großbritannien und Berlin zu sehen und wurden in zahlreichen Zines und Magazinen veröffentlicht.
