Right, so, as we saw it, there were different ways to go about this:

We thought about writing a complex diatribe on the sociopolitical dynamics of fashion and their unresolved dialogue with and manifestation upon the city’s landscape. Meh.

Or taking the self-deprecation route, a bitter path well-known to us. Funny and entertaining, yes; but perhaps it’s time to move on.

In the end, we opted for honest, full disclosure:

We’re on the verge of launching sugarhigh – the fashion edition, and we’re pretty giddy about it.

A new, editorial offshoot of the daily sugarhigh emails you’ve come to know and love, sugarhigh – the fashion edition is a temporary, daily email magazine publishing during Fashion Week, and delivering all the must-know information on the labels, the people, the parties and all things fashion in Berlin.

3. receive the daily issue from July 1st

Also, es gab unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten, die Sache anzupacken:

Wir dachten daran, eine heftige Schmährede auf die soziopolitische Dynamik von Mode, ihren unabgeschlossenen Dialog mit der Stadt und ihre Auswirkungen auf die urbane Landschaft zu schreiben. - Hmm.

Dann dachten wir an die Wir-stellen-unser-Licht-unter-den-Scheffel-Variante, ein etwas bitterer, aber uns vertrauter Weg. Lustig und unterhaltsam, stimmt schon. Aber sollten wir uns nicht vielleicht mal weiterentwickeln?

Letztlich entschieden wir uns für den ehrlichen Weg und die absolute Offenlegung der Dinge:

Wir sind kurz davor, sugarhigh - the fashion edition aus der Taufe zu heben – was uns ziemlich glücklich stimmt.

Während der Fashion Week könnt ihr euch zusätzlich zu den sugarhigh-Mails, die ihr schon kennt, über das temporäre E-Mail-Magazin sugarhigh - the fashion edition freuen. Die zusätzliche Edition wird euch mit allen wichtigen Infos versorgen — über Labels, Macher, Partys und mehr.
